A feast for the senses!
Create a signature perfume then sit back and relax and enjoy a beautiful lunch of local produce and wine in a rustic country setting in Yetholme.
Jocelyn Fullerton our vagabond nose has teamed up with Artist and Musician and all round gourmand Cate McCarthy to create a truly unique experience.
'The art of a perfumer is based on olfactive skills and memory, a sound knowledge of raw materials and the effects they create when blended into a composition'
In this intensive workshop we will explore the technical as well as the creative aspects of fragrance creation and olfaction.
We will be spending time working on olfaction techniques, developing and exercising skills in memory and recognition, fragrance family groups and accord creation into creating a complex composition (or a few variations compositions on your theme!).
We will also get to know better some very special ingredients and play a few games in scent recognition.
You will need to bring a pen and a notebook to record your impressions. An extensive range of raw materials and equipment to create your perfume will be provided.
A morning tea and refreshment will be provided also. Come and enjoy the fresh air, your senses and then celebrate your creations with a relaxed lunch out in the fresh air and Spring sunshine!
Maximum 10 spaces available, so do get in quick!
